I joined Network Homes in April 2019. As Executive Director of People and Partnerships, I lead our Human Resources, learning and development, research and strategy, external relations, resident engagement, performance, internal audit and risk, facilities and complaints functions.
Before that I had almost 15 years’ experience with Norwich City Council, the Housing Corporation, Homes and Communities Agency and the Greater London Authority, and now have over 10 years’ experience working at a senior level in housing at local, national and regional levels, including being responsible for housing for the last two Mayors of London. I have overseen the completion of affordable homes for over 150,000 people, personally negotiated multi-billion-pound affordable housing settlements and successfully launched the UK’s first publicly available criminal landlord database.
I’m passionate about social housing; having clearly seen the positive impact on people of a safe, secure and affordable home. I’m also incredibly interested in how people and communities can be supported to resolve the issues they face themselves and how listening to them can drive our improvement
I am the proud father of two mischievous children and a passionate Norwich City fan
